JOMOO, one of China's largest bathroom manufacturers, launched the HY-Circular Toilet — a water-saving toilet with water-recirculation technology. Its core sits out of sight, and the very thing a toilet ought to explain in seconds is never seen. What was needed was a 16:9 product film for an international trade fair that makes this technology tangible.
Starks.Design delivered the entire production from a single source: script, 3D modelling in Blender, After Effects and Premiere, in both Chinese and English. The toilet opens up in a transparent exploded view — a cutaway that renders the casing see-through. In clean white studio CGI, the tech modules step forward, lit in blue and orange, while the path of the water flows through the interior.
A film that doesn't describe the water cycle — it shows it. The invisible inner workings take the lead role, clear across two markets, without a single word of jargon.
